Lower-Division Mentorship Program

The overall goal for this mentorship program is to provide incoming freshmen with the opportunity to learn more about the biomedical engineering program at the University of Minnesota and gain exposure within the field itself.  Incoming freshmen will be matched with upper-division mentors based on personal interests and career goals.  Throughout the year, mentors and mentees will meet to establish a meaningful and supportive connection.

Especially in this time of such uncertainty, this mentorship program aims to provide freshmen students the necessary exposure to the field of biomedical engineering so they can gain confidence to progress in their undergraduate careers and pursue the biomedical engineering program.
